A seasonal observation

I think before the month is out I ought to offer this delightful verse by that master of humorous poetry, Ogden Nash:

Praise the spells and bless the charms,
I found April in my arms.
April golden, April cloudy,
Gracious, cruel, tender, rowdy;
April soft in flowered languor,
April cold with sudden anger,
Ever changing, ever true –
I love April, I love you.

This really describes April in Oklahoma! :-)

  1. April in England has turned out this year to be all charm by day, but her temper turns rather chilly after dark. But it's hard not to love the spring in England too - the blossom and the greenery, and everything coming to life.
